Stanton Welch’s production of The Nutcracker is one of the most splendid ever staged. In this tale, Clara and Drosselmeyer travel together to the Land of the Sweets where the Sugar Plum Fairy is reunited with her prince – and where the magic happens.

Student Matinees are professional, full-length performances by Houston Ballet with live orchestra and interactive intermissions.
PARKING Plenty of parking garages in the Theater District. More info TBA.
SEATING LIGHT will be seated together, but our group's seating location will be at the discretion of the ballet.
NO LATE SEATING (see arrival info above).
ATTIRE People attend performances in a wide variety of clothes, but typically tend to dress up for the event. The theater can sometimes get cold.
CHILDREN It's recommended children be at least 2yrs to attend a performance, but parents know their child's maturity best.
